Its tucked away at the way back end of a plaza next to an alley so you know its good. My friend and I order take out from this place regularly but would like to actually sit out on their patio one day for a meal. The place is tiny and has a cute and cozy vibe. Service is friendly and quick, and the food is home-cooked delicious.

We ADORE this place! Every time we walk in, it feels home-y, warm, and welcoming. The atmosphere is so bright and vibrant and really makes me want to stay every time we order out. It’s a refreshing place to walk into during the cold grey Illinois winters. The food is incredible! We LOVE the Massumun and Panang curry - so flavorful, always hot, and lots of chicken. Some other bangers on their menu is the Pad Woon Sen, Pad See Eiw, Pad Lard Nar, and the Rama Noodles Delight. But out of everything - you HAVE to get the Panang Noodles - the curry is delicious and velvety and the noodles are just the slightest bit crisped around the edges which makes for a great bite that is always satisfying. We’ve never gotten any other kind of meat other than chicken which is always plentiful and moist. We love this place and we have to stop ourselves from eating there every week. The prices are also SO affordable. We just got curry in a neighborhood of Nashville for $24 which was insane and not even close to how delicious this humble shop is.

The food is not good at all. Taste is below average with lot of oil in food. The portions are too small for the price and not enough veggies or chicken. They skimped out on pretty much everything even after charging a premium price. Sauces feel like they are watered down.. will never be getting food from here again

Pros: Food was really tasty! We got the Mongolian beef, eggplant with chicken and the pork Panang curry. The crab rangoons were missing from our order so we can’t review those. Con’s: Servings were really small. Only 3 shrimp in a large order, fresh rolls were a weird wonton wrap and the rest was just lacking in size and substance. The egg roll was overcooked and dry - definitely avoid that. If the servings were better we’d definitely rate higher.

This was our first time at Thai Town in Elgin. It’s a cute, cozy little restaurant with an authentic feel, and the service was very fast, which we appreciated. We tried the chicken Pad Thai and the beef Pad See Ew. Unfortunately, we weren’t impressed with either dish. The Pad Thai was overwhelmed by sauce, masking the other flavors, and both meals left us feeling unusually tired afterward—possibly due to a heavy use of MSG. While the ambiance and service were great, the food just didn’t hit the mark for us.
